Delete Your Doclyn Account

For the "Doclyn | Health Care to Home" mobile app and doclyn.in, operated by Doclyn.

You can request the permanent deletion of your Doclyn account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make the request, what data is deleted, what data we are legally required to keep, and how long the process takes.

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Email us: Send an email to support@doclyn.in (or info@doclyn.in) with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address registered with your Doclyn account, or include the mobile number you use to sign in.
  2. Or call us: +91 93848 20519 (Mon–Sat, 9 AM – 6 PM IST) and ask for account deletion. We will verify your identity using your registered phone number.
  3. We will confirm your request within 7 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of verification. You will receive a final confirmation once your account and data have been deleted.

What Data Is Deleted

  • Your account profile (name, email, phone number, gender, date of birth, photo)
  • Family member profiles you added
  • Saved delivery addresses and location data
  • Uploaded health records, prescriptions and lab reports
  • Care kits, carts, wishlists and app preferences
  • Device push-notification tokens and app usage data linked to your account

What Data Is Kept, and For How Long

  • Order, booking and payment records (invoices): retained in anonymized or minimal form for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax, accounting and healthcare regulations, after which they are permanently deleted.
  • Records of the deletion request itself: kept for up to 1 year as proof of compliance.
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics that can no longer identify you.

Delete Some Data Without Deleting Your Account

You can also request deletion of specific data — for example an uploaded prescription, a lab report, a saved address or a family member profile — without closing your account. Many of these can be removed directly inside the app (Profile → Health Records / Family / Addresses). For anything else, contact us using the same email or phone number above and tell us which data you would like removed; we will action it within 30 days.
